OUR STORY

How it started?

 

Eschato (pronounced Es-ska-to) is the heartfelt dedication of Chef Prajakta Jain, a qualified Chartered Accountant who dared to follow her dreams and leave her corporate job at a Big 4 firm behind. Driven by an unwavering passion for baking, Chef Prajakta embarked on a transformative journey, training at the prestigious Academy of Pastry Arts and honing her skills while curating delectable dessert menus at renowned establishments such as Bastian and Dirty Buns.

Fuelled by a love for both art and baking, Chef Prajakta's vision took shape in the form of Eschato. More than just a culinary venture, Eschato is a manifestation of the Chef's deep appreciation for her mother, whose unwavering support and love provided the foundation for her culinary aspirations. It is a tribute to the belief that following one's passion and crafting edible works of art can create moments of joy and happiness that linger in our memories.

What is 'baked to order'?

 At Eschato, we believe in the power of a personalized, boutique experience. Our baked-to-order concept is designed to cater to the unique tastes and preferences of our esteemed clients, ensuring that every cake is a bespoke creation crafted with love and attention to detail. With a commitment to freshness and flavor, we take pride in curating a diverse range of over 200 unique designs and counting! 

Why Eschato?

Our philosophy at Eschato is simple yet profound: we believe that a cake is not merely a dessert but a gateway to treasured moments. With a meticulous approach to flavor profiling, we collaborate closely with our clients to understand their distinct tastes, preferences, and vision. From rich and indulgent chocolate creations to light and refreshing fruit-infused masterpieces, we skillfully combines ingredients to create a symphony of flavors that captivates the palate.

At Eschato every cake is curated to appease the flavour buds of our client. Our clients often ask us which cake do we prefer? And honestly, it's the hardest question ever. For today, its our interpretation of of Black Forest, Dark Chocolate and Orange or the Tiramisu. Ask us again tomorrow and it may change ;)
